MAN CAMP: GET OUTDOORS, EAT, BE KNOWN, HAVE FUN, MAN UP!
WHEN: Fri, June 1 - Sat, June 3, 2018
WHERE: Forest Home
Join the Men of Mariners for "MAN CAMP" at Forest Home. Men who are part of this annual event say that they drive down the hill on Sunday as different men who drove up the hill on Friday - Kingdom Men; Kingdom Men who have built a meaningful brotherhood. Speakers include, Kenton Beshore, Kyle Zimmerman, and Caleb Anderson. The food is fantastic and tastes especially good in the fresh mountain air.
The cabins are clean and comfortable and there is ample time to participate in archery, mechanical bull-riding, flag football, zip-lining, horseshoes, pool basketball and volleyball, regulation basketball or just some relaxing quiet time with God and no distractions.

TUESDAY & THURSDAY GATHERINGS
“I came because I was invited. I stayed because of what I experienced.”
This is a common sentiment from the men who connect in our weekly gatherings. Few places create an environment where real men connect authentically and learn more about how to walk with God and others. We have two textbooks at our studies…the Bible and each other. We need the Bible because it is the wisdom of God. We need each other because God chooses to use our story and the stories of others to shape us.
There are two on-ramps to join us:
- Tuesday evenings from 7-8p | contact Randy: email@example.com
- Thursday mornings from 6:45-8a | contact Phil: firstname.lastname@example.org
MENTORING PLUS FOR MEN
Mentoring Plus for Men offers men an opportunity to engage in a one-to-one mentoring relationship to address Christian life development goals in the areas of spiritual growth, marriage, parenting, work, finances, health, and other areas of need.
For more information, to serve as a mentor or be paired with a mentor, contact Randy: email@example.com
Being in community together means doing life together. If you have a special interest in golf, surfing, basketball or other activity, you can take the first step to starting a connection group. Contact Randy: firstname.lastname@example.org to get started.
Few things in our culture are as powerful as serving those in need – together. Something powerful happens when we get out of ourselves, and recognize and respond to the needs of those around us. We are commissioned to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a hurting world.
Some of the places we serve:
- Weekend services and special events
- Homeless men’s shelter
- Military and veterans
- Safe Families
- Local schools
